Fire Prevention Week

An annual program known as Fire Prevention Week is organized by the Auburndale Fire Department. Every week, teachers and students visit the fire station for special tours and demonstrations aimed at educating the public about firefighters and fundamental fire safety procedures. Celebrate Fire Prevention Week with the National Fire Protection Association. The goal of this year’s “Cooking Safety Starts with You” campaign is to inform everyone about the small but crucial steps they can take to protect themselves and those they love from house fires.
